About 7% of people will suffer from depression in their lifetime. It is quite literally an invisible disease that can take away great swaths of our life. For many people it lasts for many months.
While there are many things that can be done to alleviate depression, including following a healthy diet and getting outside into sunshine with some form of exercise, there’s no doubt that in the end the action needs to take place at a cerebral level.
